About me

Hello, I'm Tobias. More than ten years ago I had the idea for my first outdoor brand. which I built up for several years. I employed people, sold a few thousand jackets a year and produced abroad. However, the larger the company grew, the more I was only concerned with managing the company, paying bills and ensuring sufficient liquidity. Creativity and joy fell by the wayside. I couldn't and didn't want to continue, so I sold the company, got employed there and quit after 1.5 years. It was time for a break and so we crossed Sweden on foot. This trip changed a lot; creativity and the desire for new products came back. This is how Outliteside came into being, where we produce all of our products ourselves, be it outdoor equipment or clothing, in our sewing workshop on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest.
